The Degučiai interpretive hiking trail is aimed at introducing the features of the Degučiai Landscape Reserve. Visiting the trail, you will meet the fauna and flora of a century-old pine forest, see the intriguing quagmire and swamp orchids that are included in the Lithuanian Redbook, and climb the picturesque mound of Degučiai. The trail is marked with directional markers and blue signs.
Most visitors to the trail are surprised by the great diversity of smells in nature. On a sunny day you may breathe the fresh pine forest air, or the intoxicating scent of Marsh Labrador tea, and after rain you will definitely smell the scent of fungi and wet moss.
The Degučiai interpretive hiking trail was designed for hikers, but it is also suitable for mountain bikes, walking a dog on a leash, and in winter – skiing. Cars may be left at the campsite at the beginning of the trail. The trail has 14 stops, each marked by an information stand.
