Numerous cultural monuments and mounds in and around Antalieptė are evidence that this place already has several hundred years of history. In the Town Centre, there is a hanging bridge above the Šventoji river. People say it is magic. Find out for yourself. When you cross the foot-bridge with your eyes blindfolded you will arrive in the thirteenth century – pagan times, when goddesses and fairy creatures walked the land and lived with people in a friendly manner.
